Despair or Hope?

On the 16th of June I will either need to renew or close this site down. At this stage I don’t have the funds to pay the renewal, so I’ll probably switch back to my free site:

I opened this site in July 2018 giving myself 2 years to reassess my writing goals and by now I had hoped to have achieved many things, a couple being: a brand new website and the release of at least 1 of my books.  But I’ve had a few ‘curve balls’ thrown at me that have delayed my writing.

As I write this I’m very conscious of the fact that this disappointment, over the delay, could easily lead me into despair. I know I’m facing a choice between despair or hope.

Rather than going back into the pit of despair I want to receive a fresh impartation of HOPE. There is a promise in the Bible that God has good plans for us, plans for peace and well-being and not for disaster, He wants to give us to give hope for the future, Jeremiah 29:11:

For I know the plans and thoughts that I have for you,’ says the Lord, ‘plans for peace and well-being and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” (AMP)

As I focus on that and not the disappointment hope does indeed ignite in my heart.

I cling onto the promise that God has GOOD things for me.

I ask God to reveal the things that I can do now to keep moving forward.

I pray that I grow in the grace and knowledge of my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory both now and forever. Amen. (2 Peter 3:18 NKJV paraphrased)

I’ll keep you posted. Many blessings, Keona.
