word of encouragement – priceless

27th Sept 2019 I awoke from a dream where I’d been desperately trying to convince someone of how much value they had. I declared that God took absolute delight in them.

I awoke with intense emotions running through me and throughout the day I cried, prayed, fretted, cleaned, sung worship songs, and napped due to the exhaustion of it all. I was exhausted and emotional because the dream had highlighted that I can easily see someone else’s value, but I struggle to see my own.

By the end of the day God had showed me, in so many ways, that I’m priceless to Him!

Today you might be feeling worthless, struggling to see your value, and if you are then I desperately want you to know that God takes absolute delight in you!

Please know that you’re MORE precious to Him than you can possibly imagine.

God sees you as a priceless treasure!

Today I want you to reject every lie that has been spoken over you by others or by yourself because you’re priceless, irreplaceable, incomparable!

You’re not here by some accident, NO you’re part of God’s divine and beautiful plan.
You’re rare, unique and you have such value that it cannot be calculated or measured in any earthly amount! God desperately desire for you to know this.

He longs to lavish His love upon you, simply receive it!

“Look with wonder at the depth of the Father’s marvelous love that he has lavished on us! He has called us and made us his very own beloved children.” 1 John 3:1a TPT

Here is a prayer you can pray:

Holy Spirit today I ask for You to impart to me the gift of understanding so that I may have the power to understand how incredible God’s love is.

Help me to grasp how wide God’s love is.

Grant me the capacity to understand how high God’s love is.

Grant me the ability to comprehend how deep God’s love is.

Let me recognize how amazing and endless God’s love is.

Even though it is too great to understand fully I long to experience the love of Christ for then I’ll be made complete.

Almighty God breathe upon me once again, please come and fill my entire being with all the FULLNESS of life and power that comes from You! (Ephesians 3:18-19).

Many blessings, Keona

Word of encouragement: God’s Strength

As you’ve probably guessed I’ve hit another ‘wall’ with The Greatest Story piece.  I’ve been struggling with lots of different things. A few weeks ago I wasn’t feeling well but I was able to get to my Church’s monthly event called Encounter. I was really struggling because I’d felt prompted to invite God to allow His Word to do a work in me. I could feel God’s piercing gaze and the dividing and cutting away of stuff, which meant that I felt extremely raw and emotional therefore I struggled to speak.

One of the ladies there, Noreen, did an amazing exercise with us which revealed just how connected we are but it also revealed to me that:

  • The times I’m weak someone lends me their strength.
  • The times I have no voice someone will speak for me.
  • When I have no encouragement to give someone will encourage me.

Reminds me of the words that Paul heard when he was struggling: “And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” 2 Corinthians 12:9 (New King James Version)

I know that you’re reading this and you may be struggling, you may feel weak, unable to speak and so discouraged. I know it can be hard to ask for help but Jesus can grant you strength when you’re weak; He will be the voice to speak for you; and be the encouragement to break through your discouragement. Just ask Him for help and He will readily respond.

Inviting God’s Word to do a work in our lives is painful because His Word pierces our hearts, it cuts and it divides. These are all extremely painful things but the piercing highlights an area in our lives that needs to change and if we allow God to cut away and divine those things from our lives we find life everlasting that truly transforms us. For example:

Death can be replaced with life.

The darkest fear can be replaced with a powerful peace.

Weakness can be replaced with strength.

The deepest grief can be replaced with overflowing joy.

Discouragement can be replaced with encouragement.

Doubt can be replaced with faith.

Sickness can be replaced with healing.

Wrong thoughts can be replaced with the right thoughts.

Lies can be replaced with Truth.

All through the mighty name of Jesus and the powerful work of the Holy Spirit.

I pray today that it will be so. Amen.

I’m holding onto those promises tightly and praying God will breakthrough for me in many areas of my life. I started my weekly blog in response to the Call to write. I’ve loved the journey that God has been taking me on and sharing the words given is the greatest privilege. Right now I’m struggling to write the next part of The Greatest Story, I don’t want to do any injustice to the story so I’m taking a break from blogging to do some more research and work on other projects I feel called to concentrate on right now. I pray I’ll have something to share again with you soon.

Thanks for your support and I appreciate your prayers.

Blessings, Keona

God’s Love, a word of encouragement

My family and I are blessed to have a home with stunning water views, on a clear day we can see a long way across the bay to cliffs.

Recently a fog rolled in and I couldn’t see past the railing of my balcony, the view was completely obscured from view.

fog 1

If you had visited me that day you might not have believed my gorgeous view.

God spoke to me as I looked out into the mist.

He said that the fog of sickness and circumstances in my life had obscured me from seeing God’s love. When I was in the depths of despair I felt so distant from God’s love. I couldn’t see it and I definitely couldn’t feel it. All I could see and feel was overwhelming defeat.

As I sat and looked out at the fog and prayed a wonderful thing happened- slowly and steadily the fog rolled back. At first the rooftops came into view, then the edge of the water, then iron pot and finally the cliffs on the far side.

As I sat and watched I knew that’s what God had done in my life. When sickness trapped me in bed God healed me and bit by bit and He has been restoring my strength. Each day I’m feeling more of His gracious love and His great goodness.

I share this with you because I want to encourage you that even though it feels like it there is a wonderful promise that NOTHING can separate us from God’s love. When you’re surrounded by the fog of despair His love is still there!

I know this because of what God has shown me and its confirmed in Romans 8:38-39: So now I live with great confidence, in fact I’m convinced beyond any doubt, that there is nothing in the universe that has the power to separate us from God’s love. I’m truly convinced that His unlimited passionate love will triumph over death, life’s troubles, fallen angels and all created things. I know that Jesus has conquered our past, is at work in our present and will triumph in our future. Because God’s extravagant love is lavished upon us through our Lord Jesus, the Anointed One!

I want to encourage you today that if circumstances or situations have you feeling trapped in a fog that is obscuring your view of God and feeling His love then please hold tight. Declare that there is NOTHING that can separate you from God’s love and allow Him to roll back that fog from your heart and mind.

I’ve been battling a bit of a writing fog when it comes to ‘The Greatest Story’ but I’ve set aside some time next week so I’ll try to get back on-track with it after Easter. Thanks for your patience, prayers appreciated.

Many blessings, Keona

Ready For Revival

A little while ago I awoke from a dream. In my dream I was in an unfamiliar place surrounded by women I do not recognise. I was praying and worshiping with them and I felt such a hunger, a longing for revival. The worship was astounding with many people down on the floor. I sensed that they were discouraged and I said: ‘we need to be ready as the weight of God’s glory is heavy.’

As I awoke I heard the words:

Are you ready?

Revival is stirring

Revival is coming

Are you ready?

The weight of God’s glory is heavy and holy

Are you ready?

Have you been preparing, waiting and praying?

Are you hungry and thirsty like never before?

Are you ready?

Because revival is stirring in many hearts

Because revival is coming ready or not!

So please get ready!
“Help us, O God of our salvation! Help us for the glory of your name. Save us and forgive our sins for the honor of your name.” Psalms 79:9 (NLT)
God says to the prodigal: My beloved one, you’re welcome home!1

No one has to be afraid

For love is stronger than the grave

The hand of God has made a way

His name is Jesus2

Fear God for He is so mighty!

Bow down with awe and reverence, for He alone is worthy.

Give Him great glory and honour, let your praises ring out!

The hour of God’s great judgement has come!

With all of your heart bow down and worship the One who created the heaven and the earth.

With all of your might bow down and worship the One who created the sea and the springs of water.

“Then I witnessed another angel flying in the sky, carrying a message of eternal good news to announce to the earth—to every tribe, language, people, and nation. With a loud voice he shouted, “You must reverence God and glorify him, for the time has come for him to judge. Worship at the feet of the Creator of heaven, earth, sea, and springs of water.” Revelation 14:6-7 (TPT)

BE ENCOURAGED

For those who have been pressing in for revival, please be encouraged and keep praying, don’t give up and lose heart (Luke 18:1).

I encourage you to:

Let’s pray:

Thank You that I can pray with confidence, knowing that God hears and (1 John 5:14-15).

I pray that I will be guided by the Holy Spirit every time I draw near to God and pray.

I ask for a persistent heart that asks and keeps on asking, knowing that those who keep on asking RECEIVE.

I request a hunger to seek and keep on seeking, knowing that those who keep on seeking FIND.

I desire a faithfulness to knock and keep on knocking, knowing that those who keep knocking will see the door OPENED.  (Matthew 7:7-8).

Lord Jesus I want to walk in Your ways and so I invite You to come and teach me.

Holy Spirit I invite You to come and touch my life and do a great work within.

Lord release Your great glory, let us hear the sound of Your coming. We invite You to come and fill this whole landscape with Your glory! (Inspired by Ezekiel 43:2 NLT)

Spirit of the sovereign Lord

Come and make Your presence known

Reveal the glory of the Living God

Spirit of the sovereign Lord

Come and make Your presence known

Reveal the glory of the Living God

Let the weight of Your glory cover us

Let the life of Your river flow

Let the truth of Your kingdom reign in us

Let the weight of Your glory

Let the weight of Your glory fall

We do not seek Your hand

We only seek Your face

We want to know You

We want to see You

Reveal Your glory in this place3

In Jesus’ mighty name I pray, Amen.

2019 = JOY. My Emotional Healing Testimony

Today I’d love to share with you my emotional healing journey, please note that this is the very brief overview because there is just SO much that God has done that I’m compiling it all to eventually release in a couple of books!

In February 2017 God invited me upon a deep inner healing journey and a huge part of that was dealing with the emotions that I had struggled with my whole life. Over the next few months God gradually unpacked grief, rage, hurt, pain, despair, fear, doubts, disappointments and so much more. Many times it felt like my heart would explode with the pain. I thought my mind would melt from the memories of despair combined with the emotion of hopelessness. I felt like my spirit was completely crushed beneath the weight of all I had endured and it was weak and failing me fast.

But praise God for He sustained me!

My heart full of pain was replaced with a heart full of grace and love.

My mind overwhelmed with despair has been renewed with hope and blessed assurance.

My ocean of tears filled with bitterness and great grief were replaced with tears of redemption!

My weak spirit is now steadfast and strong!

It was a journey where I needed to continuously cry out: “not my will but Yours my Lord!”.

God has taken me on a journey of embracing the fact that I‘m emotional and a couple of things that really helped were:

Firstly studying the life of Jesus and recognising the many INTENSE emotions He dealt with whilst here on earth and coming to the revelation that His emotions were centred in God.

Secondly studying James Goll who is a prophetically gifted man, he explains that prophetic people are extra-sensitive so that they can be receptive to the gentle nudging of the Holy Spirit. Sensitivity enables us to quickly perceive things in the spirit realm. I gained a great comfort from knowing that God wants people with sensitive soft hearts.

I’ve noticed that when we prophecy we feel the pain of others so that we can convey the heart of God. We can feel God’s pain or love or compassion for those we are speaking to so that we can engage appropriately. As emotional people we can be highly sensitive to the Holy Spirit which is a wonderful thing!

As God has patiently and gently taken me upon this journey I’ve seen a shift where I can now fully embrace my sensitive and emotional nature and allow God to use it for His great glory.

I wanted to share my story because I believe that God can heal every area of people’s lives – spiritually, physically, mentally and emotionally. God can make us WHOLE!

Larry Sparks, in his book “Ask For The Rain: Receiving Your Inheritance Of Revival & Outpouring”, explains it like this: “It’s not about who we are; it’s about Who He is in us and through us. If God is really inside of us, then everywhere we walk, we carry the rule, reign and administration of the Kingdom of Heaven.”

For God to do a work through us He needs to remove the rubbish and fill us to overflow with Him and His glorious presence, it is then that we will see as it is in Heaven unfold. It is a painful process but one that produces such freedom!

I felt prompted to declare over 2019 the following which has been inspired from Isaiah 61:

Jesus comforts and heals the wounds of the brokenhearted, He grants joy to ALL those who mourn.

He proclaims release from confinement and condemnation.

Jesus’s great sacrifice has freed us from every sin that would entangle and entrap us.

For those who are disheartened, Jesus grants the garment of praise.

Grasp hold of Jesus’ righteousness that makes you magnificently strong and full of integrity.

Jesus can rebuild that which seems destroyed and restore that which seems lost.

No longer will shame shadow you or humiliation be your name for a double portion will be restored to you and an everlasting joy bestowed upon you.

For our Lord God loves justice and hates robbery.

When others see our prosperity, they will know and acknowledge that we are God’s dearly loved and highly prized children.

Let us REJOICE greatly in the Lord, let our souls exult Him and His wonderful ways.

He clothes us in garments of salvation; covers us with the robe of righteousness; places a crown upon each of our heads; and adorns us with His goodness.

Just as the earth springs forth that which is sown into it, let us spring forth with righteousness and praise because we have the Word of God sown into our hearts producing a great harvest!

Praying 2019 unfolds with much joy. Many blessings, Keona
